Dead Works

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

— James 2:26 NKJV

===========================

Dead Works is going all your life doing good and in the end get nothing from it.

I don’t want to live a dead works life.  Just as much as I am in need of the Spirit to give me life each day, and all the day long.  I also need to apply a reason for my purpose.   Put faith, belief, trust in God who gives me strength to endure as a soldier should.

I don’t have time to get PTSD in the Spirit,  or flesh.  I chat be thrown off every time I hear backfire or some rift in the body if believers that do Not get settled.  I must be found doing the work.  Praying without ceasing, attending to the flock I have been given.  Feeding the helpless and substituting for missing fathers for orphans.  Making sure true widows are given assistance in any way possible.  Without hidden agendas.

You can  reverse it anytime you want.  “Faith without works without faith is all dead”.  Don’t do it with an empty heart.  Don’t do it if you don’t believe in it.

In everything you do.  It must have the love of God in it, or it has wasted all of your time.  It is like spending the time to minister to someone who has an addiction, and thinking you got them to a solid place, only to see them strung out again, but worse.  I have seen that on many occasions.   I can not become complacent because my work has been undone in the heart or mind of a person.  We learn from the experiemce, and we attempt not to let that slip by is unnoticed again.

We have opportunity everyday, and many choose not to do it, because of that fear of failure.  When you have been an expert at anything, first you failed, then you picked up on it and finally you could do it without mistakes.

If you tailgate something your an expert in, that just means you became lacks in your efforts, and you must refocus your efforts to accomplish what you now know your capable of doing right.

A work that to faith for you, is when you have made it over a stumbling block yourself personally.  Your testimony is a work done in faith.   With the Lord’s help and instructions, you were able to pull it off with out back tracking.

No longer this or that.  You do not have to be ashamed of what you did, only what you do.  What you did, was in a place of weakness and fear.  What you do now, is what you take thought in, to make sure you are in compliance with the Gospel example of how to live your life for Christ.

Just as important as it is to have Spirit in you giving you life.  You need the faith to do the work.
