Doing My Own Thing.

All we like sheep have gone astray;

We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

β€” Isaiah 53:6 NKJV

The stubborn nature of a free willed animal.  We who are the sheep assume we know what is best for self, but we have no clue.  God is the Shepherd and let me say it right.   Christ is the Shepherd of the flock.  He directs our path through the spoken Word of truth.   He tells is where it is safest to lay down and be at peace.  The place we are seeking is where we direct our footing.  It is said that a person turns his/her feet or the exit when they are being questioned about subjects that are deep and require the telling of truth.   Couples who turn away from each other sitting at the same table dining.  Those couples are in retreat.  Their body language speaks columns of truth without opening their mouths to speak.  We are always ready to move on so easily.  That is due to the facts that the presence of God has made us comfortable.  We didn’t have to fight for our own freedom.  When you are trying to get out as fast as you came in.  It must mean you do not hold commitment to your heart.   Stand still and see God do His work.  We can’t be God for others, He is Himself and there is none other.

If we keep trying to escape truth and righteousness, then we will allow destruction to settle upon us.  Stay in the Grace and Mercy of the Lord at all times.  Be encouraged even though we have attachments to this world, nitji g shall get in between me and my Heavenly Father.

Ordained Elder, Husband, and Father.
