New Agreements

He made us able to be servants of a new agreement from himself to his people. It is not an agreement of written laws, but it is of the Spirit. The written law brings death, but the Spirit gives life.

— II Corinthians 3:6 ERV

What is it that you have to give up?  Christ Jesus did all the work on the Cross.  He only asks that you and I support it.  The Cross is heavy by its self.  He only had, to give us the understanding, we must bare witness to His suffering in our personal walk.  He died for us all.  Simon the man who helps a few steps, bore the weight of what He delivered to the Lord, when they reached the end of the road to Gilgotha.

Our hearts need to be affected by what the Lord delivered us from.  Take joy knowing we didn’t have to die because of our own hidden desires.   Let us show that we agree with what the Lord has done.  Be excited to be free from having to lie and deceive people.  Gods new commitment and covenant with His subjects has given us hope and brings forth life.

The Old promos was with the Lord God.  We follow the law that was given to the smallest degree with our missing a beat.  If we kept the Law accordingly we would have God’s protection and He would make sure we saw success.  Break I this covenant meant we lost our life at one point.  So it was better to make sure we did more than expected.  They would kill themselves forgetting the small details.

Thank God for a stronger covenant that would give us opportunity to get things into perspective.  Through this new covenant we had been given the Grace needed to carry it out.

The Law equals death because it is impossible to n not in a world that is plagued with son around every corner.  You do not know when you mess up and son by omission.  God gives us His unmerited favor and daily mercy to save us through Christ.  Thank the Lord He did.
