Don’t Be Dismayed

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

— Joshua 1:9 NKJV

Why be shocked at what goes on in this life?  We who are His children already know what the Lord has to say about the world views over the views of Godly faith.  We need to pick up our faith in Him.  Stop relying on self mode to kick in when we deal with persecuting words thay come at us.  As long as you remain in the Kingdom of God, you will be challenged on what you believe.  Now is the tine to stand firm on the Scriptural Principles that you have developed in your corporate and private studies.  We cannot back off the front lines because we are afraid of what will happen to us.  I can not believe how many Christians believe the total opposite of what the Woed of God has commanded.  It amazes me, but to be dismayed as if stunned to the point that Im paralyzed and cannot function, is what the Word here is expressing.  We are to shocked about what is going on to and through the Church, that we sit in the congregations and still miss out on doing what is expected.  Say something about the atrocities that have taken place in our communities and show the people there is hope to get out of the ropes tied by the enemy.  I think we are afraid to step up because of what we have done ourselves.  Guilt keeps our mouths closed.  We hessitate to speak because we did something we are ashamed of.  You dont have time to sit and wallow in your sins.  You are required to be a whistle blower in the Body of Christ.  Even if it may point at your wrong as well.  Gain the strength to expose your own weakness to God, so that He doesn’t have to do it for us.  The Word says confess it to one another.  That is so the enemy doesn’t have a hold to your hearts strings to manipulate your journey and what you might have to say to others.

As long as the eneny exist in our dispensation (span of time), we will have to fight for everything we gain.  If you dont want to leave someone behind on the Battle Field, then you have a job to do.  Being perplexed aboit your own struggles do not help your believers coupe with the harsh reality of faith.   If faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the preaching, then you should know what is expected of you as you walk circumspectly before your God.
