For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.
We cannot get fed up with life, because of people. Our purpose for living and being good examples are for the few we come in contact with daily. We will not reach all of the people for Christ, but we should at least work towards reaching one at a time. For Christ we live. Not for money, prestige, or some form of fame. If we live for Him, we dont mess up. When we are living for ourselves, that is when we run into obstacles that cause us to be sorry. We have to stop working so hard to secure our selves a spot in this world. We are not here forever. It will end one day for us all. We must remember to be fruitful in our process of service. We are working to bring people to the faith, not run them off. Also, it doesn’t help changing our doctrine and belief because people dont understand where your coming from. When those who are ready to know the Lord for themselves come, they must come expecting to change their minds, not the faith that we have that has been establish from the beginning. If Christ did not come to do away with the Law but to fulfill it. Then, how can we come into the faith expecting it to change for us? For Chirst I live, and for Christ I die. Either way, it is all for the Lord, and not myelf. Change is hard to receive, but necessary. Without coming to repentance, we do not understand dying in His name. Christ died that you and I might live. Notice, we always say, ‘MIGHT’. Because, many people do not come to Him in time and they end up dying in their sins. We are here to make a difference in that dynamic. We are the testimony of Christ’s love towards the world and especially towards the Church. We can not be a half believer, and expect full protection under God. We stand in place as good soldiers willing to lay down our lives for the Kingdom of God. We are not cowards hiding behind someone else just to save our selves. If He gave His life, then we can give ours. After all, He ‘s not asking you to take His place to save the world.
