Never Hesitate In Your Response

We must hold on to the hope we have, never hesitating to tell people about it. We can trust God to do what he promised.   – Hebrews 10:23 ERV

A closed mouth cannot be fed.  Neither can a silent testimony be shared.  If you are still amazed at how God dug in the dirt to save you then what you have to tell others in your times of witnessing.  This can help save another from being lost.  People seem to think that once you go a particular way in your life that you can’t back track and change your mind in the middle of the stride.  There are those who have come back to the side of right thinking on their choice of lifestyle.  They have testified that what they were thinking was wrong and gave their lives back to God.  Some have stopped a lifestyle of promiscuity or mischief, finally coming to their senses and surrendering their life to Christ.  We must remember that we all have testimonies that can help someone turn from their wicked ways and acknowledge the Lord to be saved from sin and death.  Just like we were.  Never stop shouting the great and mighty name of the Almighty who has set you free.  When people say, “How we are doing?” we cannot come back with negative responses.  Saying things like, “I’m making it or “It’s not all bad”, doesn’t give God glory in your life.  We must be instant in season and out of season.  The Saints must have joy that is unspeakable and full of God’s Glory.  Praise the name of the Lord!  Up is not down and down is not up, so we can’t be both at the same time.  A smile cannot perpetrate a frown.  If you are depressed, then take it to your prayer closet and get that joy God promised that you would have in the morning for those who weep overnight.  If I don’t have joy I don’t say anything to anyone that would bring them down with me.  Sure we have bad days and hard times.  Sure we cry and scream because stuff doesn’t turn out right for us all the time.  It is not God’s fault we have it hard.  Sometimes it is our own doing and we need to leave it at the altar so it can be fixed.  Be ready, because someone will inquire of your joy and happiness in the Lord. I know you don’t want to bring another down, do you?
